place settings to die for....

Lulu Aldunate born and bred in Buenos Aires, Argentina but now residing in New York has created these amazing place settings.

Lula combines ethnic with shabby & chic to create a unique style.

An interior designer, magazine & events designer and NOW product designer there is no end to Lula's talents.

Today, I wanted to share with you these place settings using vintage china placed over patterned cloths..There is no such thing as TOO MUCH where Lula is concerned!

divine trays.....

Look at these beautiful trays.... I fell upon them on Jamaica Byles blog but like Jamaica, I can not get to the source - my swedish is not up to it!! On flickr you can see the whole range of trays produced (I think) by fingerspitzengefuhl....Stunning!

Table runners - yes, I admit not the most exciting topic for a Monday morning...!

But, actually you might quite like what you see - I couldn't resist featuring them having come across the image with the runner made out of tiles. I think it is a GREAT idea and so easy & fun to do!

I also love the idea of a table runner made from hesian or another very neutral fabric - with a couple of simple additions your dining table can be transformed.
