oi soi oi...goodness gracious me

Oi Soi Oi which is Vietnamese for Goodness Gracious Me is another danish find...and what a great find!

Founded in 2007 by Christina Thobell & Britt Goodall, Oi Soi Oi produces all of it's products in villages around Hanoi by family-run workshops.
The corner stone of the Oi Soi Oi concept is respect for the people they work with: their customers, their suppliers in the workshops and the many more who contribute to making Oi Soi Oi such a success in really, very little time.

Just from viewing the website briefly I have found countless wonderful accessories for the home - ceramics, textiles to name but a few...

The following stock Oi Soi Oi products in the Uk - failing that i'm sorry to say you'll have to make a trip to Denmark.. and all things considering with so many devine interior finds coming from Denmark i'd be the first to go and pay a visit!!

pia ulin....

Pia Ulin is a swedish photographer who specialises in shooting interiors - her work embraces life and her lifestyle images breathe energy...
I love these particular shots from Morroco - & as I have featured time & time again it is the simple white finish for the walls and then the furnishings which make the space. So simple but so very effective.

This time around it is primarily to whet your taste-buds a little more to the marvels of dining out with some stunning images I have found...

house doctor to the rescue....

Have you heard about House Doctor?
A danish family run company offering furniture and interior design products to discerning consumers with an interest in interior design.
My 5 x favorite picks -

great & different carpets!
elegant trays that would work anywhere in the home
sumptuous fabrics with cotton fill - superb throws
wonderful wicker - House Doctor actually seems to have some nice wicker!!

candle holders - there are 100's to choose from...

With their HQ in Denmark - where all the designing is done, they produce 2 x collection a year. This means that there are always exciting & in my opinion, beautiful furnishings for every taste available...

Their online catalog illustrates what they have on offer - I couldn't flick the pages fast enough & the good news it that they are represented throughout Europe. For list via.

Yet again, another Scandinavian design house comes up trumps!

Thanks to Beauty Comma blog for introducing me to House Doctor.

Memory Jog :
14/4 coral inspired accessories
6/6 moroccan influenced tiles

Ok, the feeling smug is over - I do know is that I wouldn't be featuring anything here if it wasn't for the inspiration I get from the incredible people & places I have been fortunate enough to know. I am in-debited to all & I feel just, very lucky to have had my eyes open to so many beautiful things...

I have a long way to go - lalamoon is only in it's infancy but with 6 months planned in India come September & a lot of hard graft on the conceptual and business side before then.. I'm going to do it!

Headaches at the moment = website & trying to find a mentor. Anyone got any ideas...

best kept secret...winterwell

....the biggest little festival!!

'mano de dios' I LOVE... & nothing to do with Diego Maradonna!

Winterwell kicks off today, in a field somewhere in the Cotsworlds... I can't tell you where, because I wont know until I arrive ! WHAT FUN even if I am there working...

This is the 3rd year of Winterwell - the 'biggest'' little' festival & it is fast becoming the most whispered-about secret in the festival calendar & the ultimate jewel in the crown...

I stumbled upon Winterwell when trying to find out where Mano de Dios were playing this summer. Cue - a vibrant upbeat mix of Spanish Rumba and Gypsy swing. INCREDIBLE!
The band spearheaded by the divine Jackson Scott formed two years with their friendship and style evolving through their shared passions for the rhythms, romantiscim & songs which make up their sound today.

More info on Winterwell via ...& the latest news is there are a few day tickets being released for tomorrow & Sunday too!
