1930's Seltzer bottles - Argentina
There are few things more effortlessly beautiful than coloured glass bottles sitting in a windowsill, filled with flowers, or displayed on a mantelpiece.
I love coloured glass and had begun to accumulate quite a collection in Bs As. If you go looking in Bs As and around you can pick up some amazing finds - not least the vintage 1930 Selter bottles in stunning blues and greens. The obvious places to go looking at the markets in San Telmo and Dorrego but even better is to go off the beaten track, as far as Uruguay if you can, where you will find an Aladdin's cave of wonderful things at much better prices.
